Military Units are a game mechanic that allows players to boost damage and provide a small amount of health regeneration as a group.
Any player can create a Military Unit, as long as they can afford its creation cost of 300x Concrete.
Any player can create up to 3 Military Units, but can only be a member of a single Military Unit at any point in time.
A Military Unit's location can be set to any region in the world upon creation, but the location selected has a purely symbolic effect.
Military Units have a dedicated in-game chat group that only members can read and write messages to.
Military Unit members can ask for help; 5 other members can then help as an action. Each help will immediately regenerate 2 health points for the requester (for a total regeneration of 10 health points). Each member can request help once every 12 hours.
Both asking for help and helping other members has no costs involved.
If players plan on using Pills to buff their damage, it's wise to time the help request during the buff period, to maximize the buffed damage potential.
The Military Unit's owner and commanders can create battle orders for any side in any Battle, with a description for the members to know the reason for the order.
The priority of the battle order determines its cost, as well as the damage bonus % it provides:
| Order priority | Cost | Damage bonus % |
|---|---|---|
| Low | 5 | +5% |
| Medium | 10 | +10% |
| High | 15 | +15% |
Military units have headquarters, which provide a damage bonus % once upgraded, and dormitories, which allow having more members.
Headquarters provide a damage bonus % to its members, while it's active. The headquarters can be activated or deactivated at any time, but it has an activation period of 3 – 4 hours (3 hours + time until the next hourly regen tick).
The headquarters consume Oil while it's active, and it's automatically deactivated once the Oil in the Military Unit's inventory runs out.
| Level | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steel required | 100 | 200 | 300 | 600 |
| Damage bonus % | +5% | +10% | +15% | +20% |
| Hourly Oil maintenance cost | 1 | 2 | 5 | 10 |
Dormitories allows the Military Unit to have more members.
The more members there are in the Military Unit:
| Level | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Steel required | – | 200 | 300 | 400 | 500 |
| Maximum number of members | 5 | 10 | 15 | 20 | 25 |
The Military Unit's owner and commanders can create recruitment offers, that any player can then apply for.
The recruitment offers have a description, an entry fee that applicants have to pay once their application is accepted, and a minimum level that the applicants need to have in order to apply.
A player can only be a member of a single Military Unit at any time, and thus, applications can only be accepted if the player is not a member of another Military Unit at the time.
The Military Unit's owner and commanders can accept or reject an application at their discretion.
Similar to a Country, a Military Unit has its own account, and associated inventory. The Military Unit's owner and commanders can trade items in the Trading Market, on the Military Unit's behalf.
A Military Unit's account can be increased by:
The accumulated funds can then be used for creating battle orders, or for purchasing Oil, which gets consumed by active headquarters.
