¶ Strategic Resources
Strategic Resources are rare resources that may randomly appear in a country's core regions
They provide a Country Production Bonus while the region remains under your country's control
The type and location of Strategic Resources are randomized every month
¶ Available Strategic Resources
The following Strategic Resources currently exist:
- Lithium
- Coal
- Diamonds
- Uranium
- Rare Earths
- Gold
¶ Production Bonus
Owning multiple copies of the same Strategic Resources provides lower amounts of bonus
For each resource type:

| 1 | +5% |
| 2 | +0.5% |
| 3+ | +0.25% |
Each Strategic Resource type is calculated separately.
For example, owning:
- 2 Lithium = +5.5%
- 3 Gold = +5.75%
¶ Specialization
Strategic Resource / Production bonuses only apply if the country has selected a Specialization through the Set Specialization Item law
For example, if Country X owns four regions containing 4 different Strategic Resources, it may choose Limestone as its country's specialization, this grants 20% Production Bonus to companies producing Limestone within that country's borders
That's beside party's ethics "Fanatic Industrialist" which gives you additional 30% bonus
For example, if Country X also has the Fanatic Industrialist ethics, which grants +30% production towards construction specialization goods or ammo, the total Limestone Production Bonus becomes:
- 20% from Strategic Resources
- 30% from Fanatic Industrialist
- Total: +50% Production Bonus
